Super-friendly and exceptionally nice staff, and delicious food!!!

The hotel with clean rooms, in a pretty comfortable area, to beach side area. A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Cozy room with nice beds as well as the freezer. Great and favourable location, a short walk to everywhere. A huge variety of food options not too far from the venue.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon the exquisite Soul Café during my stay. The staff, like the Mustard Seed, grew into a strong and lofty tree, always there to assist me in my quest for the good life.

The only downside was the lack of a full-length mirror, but hey, who needs to see their whole outfit anyway?

I specifically chose to stay at Oyo 89809 Sogor Girls Dormitory Female Only because of its convenient location near the Penang Times Square. I wanted to explore this vibrant shopping area and indulge in some retail therapy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality products and services offered by the hotel. The staff at the 24-hour front desk were fluent in both Malay and English, and the hotel provided useful amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and an onsite shopping area. Additionally, the presence of a gourmet restaurant and a true home-made Italian gelato shop made my stay even more enjoyable.

This hotel had a very central position convenient to go to anywhere by buses. Besides, it was not far from Penang's street art as well as the nagore square.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the dormitory was impeccable, with the beds and bathrooms always well-maintained. The hotel staff, specifically Manager Tan and Akane, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided us with information about local attractions and even checked on our well-being after we left. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in a great neighborhood in the heart of downtown. We were able to conveniently explore the city by taking buses or walking, thanks to the hotel's proximity to transportation options. the hotel's facilities and staff exceeded our expectations.

We recommend it. Really enjoyed the place, had a such great stay as a solo travellers. The welcoming staff accommodated all the needs. Great position was an added bonus. Also, Chew Jetty was 2 miles away.

It was sincerely a really nice stay with very very helpful staff. The location was strategic, for example, a run museum was relatively close to the hotel...

I liked the room, it was clean and cozy and with the freezer and nice beds, for example. The location was marvellous, for example, Upside Down Museum was just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The facilities at this place were perfect - comfortable beds, clean rooms, and great amenities like a washing machine and dryer. The attention to detail really stood out and made a big difference. It's a beautiful place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a good night's sleep and excellent facilities.

Felt like home, no complaints whatsoever.

I had such a fantastic stay at this all-female dormitory! The dormitory was spotlessly clean, and the capsule beds were incredibly comfortable and private. The manager was extremely friendly and gave me wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The shower had great water pressure, and I loved having access to free laundry facilities. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I return to Penang!

I recently stayed at this cozy hostel in George Town for a week-long vacation. The property manager, CP, was absolutely amazing, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests. The hostel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with free laundry and dryer use, as well as a clothes steamer. The kitchenette was conveniently equipped, and I had a great time meeting some wonderful girls during my stay. This hostel definitely exceeded my expectations and made me feel right at home.
